BLOGMAS #3: My Bookish Christmas Wishlist

Everyone loves writing their Christmas list... so, following on from yesterday's Blogmas post, here's mine - but bookish!!

(Disclaimer: this is just a wishlist...)

Book sleeve

I have seen book sleeves floating around on Instagram this year and I always thought they were such a good idea. I never got around to buying myself one so Christmas seems like the perfect time to ask!

Book shelf

Next up is a book shelf for my room at home. At the moment I have a shelf that sits on top of the curtain rail above my bed but it's starting to get full up... I'm sure most readers can relate. 

So, on my bookish wishlist is a tall, thin, freestanding book shelf that can fit into the gap between my wardrobe and my door. 

Unfortunately this might have to wait until I live at home more permanently, otherwise (and it pains me to say this) it might be a waste of money. *sobs*

Bookmarks

I know I mentioned these yesterday but who doesn't love a good bookmark ?!

My current bookmark collection is pretty small...


...so it would be pretty nice to make it grow a little bit!

The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern... signed

To receive a signed copy of The Night Circus would be an absolute DREAM!

But unfortunately I know it is very hard to come by, especially since Morgenstern has stopped selling signed copies.

I love that book so much. To be honest, I'd be thrilled to receive any copy of TNC... I read it on loan from the library so I don't even have my own!

    I honestly miss being able to read. My kids are little and its impossible to find the time. Unless its Thomas the Train I am reading lol! Thank you for sharing!

I started reading Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children towards the beginning of June and expected it to be a nice, easy read for summer. I knew it was aimed at readers a bit younger than me but in my experience if the plot line is interesting then the style of writing shouldn't get in the way. BLOGMAS #5: Favourite Book I've Received as a Christmas Present

Title: Letters of Note Author: Shaun Usher I have asked for many books for Christmas over the years but the one that always stands out in my memory is 'Letters of Note' by Shaun Usher. Plus, the story behind it is quite cute, if I say so myself... (Unfortunately this photo isn't mine - it's from the Letters of Note website . I'm currently living away from home in Switzerland so I am sadly without my copy of the book. I'm sure it's sitting happily on my bookshelf above my bed as we speak.) Back in my sixth form days, I remember making the trip to Waterstones everyday on my way home after school.
