BLOGMAS #1: December TBR
Hello and welcome to the first post in my Blogmas series!
At the beginning of November, I decided I wanted to post more on my blog but didn't think I had enough content ideas to do so. However, one day on the wonderful world of Twitter, I saw someone tweet about #Blogmas.
...Blogmas? What is that?!
I had heard of Vlogmas (I spent most of my preteen Decembers religiously watching Zoella's daily uploads on YouTube) but never even knew Blogmas existed. I decided on the spot that I was going to upload onto my blog everyday in December up until Christmas Eve.
The kind of content you can expect from my Blogmas series is a mixture of bookish and generally Christmassy!
So, here is my December TBR (to-be-read) to start things off!

The Little Book of Lykke by Meik Wiking
I read the first book in this series in November because it was recommended to me by a friend. I enjoyed learning about a different culture and a concept that I hadn't heard of before, but felt like it was just that bit too long and stretched out. It didn't really need to be 300 pages long! I bought both books at the same time so it has just been sat on my shelf ever since... So hopefully I can get through it in December! The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris
Not very Christmassy, I know. But I bought this at the airport after saying goodbye to my best friend who came to visit me in Switzerland. I had forgotten to bring my book with me and needed something to keep me entertained on the long train journey so picked this one up! I haven't read much historical fiction so I am as excited to read this as one can be about a story set during the Holocaust...
The Magicians by Lev Grossman
Having three books on my December TBR is optimistic but I would also love to get started on this one before the end of the year. I don't really know what it's about but have high hopes!
